J. Gordon Bonnyman is Charterhouse's Executive Chairman, having joined the Firm in 1990. He began his career with the Plessey Company in 1968 and then moved to Bankers Trust Company where he established the European leveraged buy-out division and later became Managing Director. Gordon has spent more than 30 years in the private equity industry. He has an MA from University of St Andrews and an MBA from Columbia University.
