Tim James joined Charterhouse in 2007, having previously spent two years with Legal & General Ventures where he worked on private equity transactions across a variety of sectors. Prior to this he spent five years at KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then worked for two years in its corporate finance practice. He has a degree in Geography from Oxford University. Since joining Charterhouse he has worked on the Tunstall investment and in April 2010 on the Card Factory acquisition.
